We invite applications for a 3-year postdoctoral position in ice sheet modeling at the University of Bergen.
The research project aims to develop methods that explicitly simulate the Greenland radiostratigraphy to aid model validation and calibration, following this approach: https://tc.copernicus.org/preprints/tc-2020-355/
This position requires considerable coordination with partners in the US, Canada, Spain, and Japan. Travel grants are available for research stays of up to 12 months, which may extend the total employment to up to 4 years.
The initial closing date for applications is 30 April. Start of employment should be in the second half of 2021. A second postdoc and a PhD position will be advertised later this year.
