PhD position, Glacier modeling and hydropower, University of Bergen, Norway

We invite applications for a fully-funded PhD position in glacier modeling at the University of Bergen:

"From black gold to the green battery? - The future of Norwegian glaciers, hydropower potential and societal constraints"

At the heart of this interdisciplinary collaboration are glacier simulations that span the range of future climate scenarios. The results will then be used in a close collaboration with political scientists, as well as partners in industry and a European policy institute.

Watershed Scientist Position at SFEI

  Dear Colleagues, The San Francisco Estuary Institute (SFEI) is seeking an entry to mid-level watershed scientist to join our Resilient Landscapes Program.  The successful candidate will work on applied science projects relating to watershed restoration, water and sediment management, and climate-change adaptation planning in the Bay Area and statewide.
