One PhD position on landscape connectivity and hydrochoric seed transport.

The ecohydrology in agrosystems team in the LISAH laboratory invites applications for 1 PhD position (36 months) on « Connectivity of agricultural landscapes: application to hydrochoric seed transport for the rehabilitation of agroecological infrastructure ».


The PhD will be located in Montpellier, a wonderful place to live, and more precisely in the campus of SupAgro, a French public institution devoted to higher education and research in Agriculture, Food and Environment, widely open to international issues and partnerships, with specific focus and recognized expertise on southern and Mediterranean areas.


The research will focus on :

- characterization of green and blue frames properties according to their vegetation diversity.

- measuring seed dispersal by hydrochory using innovative tracking methods.

- assessing seedbanks inside and outside green and blue frames to estimate their rehabilitation potential.


Qualifications for this position include a M. Sc. in ecology, agronomy, or a related field of environmental engineering.

Watershed Scientist Position at SFEI

GSA Marine & Coastal Geoscience Division seeking leadership candidates
