Watershed Scientist Position at SFEI

  Dear Colleagues, The San Francisco Estuary Institute (SFEI) is seeking an entry to mid-level watershed scientist to join our Resilient Landscapes Program.  The successful candidate will work on applied science projects relating to watershed restoration, water and sediment management, and climate-change adaptation planning in the Bay Area and statewide. The candidate will help develop tools and quantitative approaches to inform regional and state-wide riverine ecosystem management decisions. The candidate will also help manage projects, coordinate project teams, and work with partners to achieve successful project outcomes. We are looking to fill this position immediately. GSA Marine & Coastal Geoscience Division seeking leadership candidates

The Marine and Coastal Geoscience Division of the Geological Society of America ( About Us - Marine and Coastal Geoscience Division (geosociety.org) ) is seeking candidates for the positions of First and Second Vice Chair. Both Vice Chair positions will participate in Division planning and decision making. Vice Chairs progress within the Division from Second Vice Chair to First Vice Chair next year and Chair the year afterward. With an additional year serving as Past Chair, this is a multi-year commitment to Division leadership. Candidates should have a PhD, or a minimum of five years relevant professional experience past the Bachelor's degree level.
