Open position at CIMA Foundation

 Dear All,


CIMA Foundation is looking for motivated young researchers to strength its “Hydrology and Hydraulics” Unit. 

The desired candidates should work in the pursuing of some of the following objectives within the Program: 
• Develop hydrological/hydraulics models for flood forecasting and water management; 
• Strength the use of satellite data in hydrology for flood and droughts; 
• Evaluate the impact of climate change on hydrological cycle; 
• Support the operative activities in flood forecasting.

The Marine and Coastal Geoscience Division of the Geological Society of America ( About Us - Marine and Coastal Geoscience Division (geosociety.org) ) is seeking candidates for the positions of First and Second Vice Chair. Watershed Scientist Position at SFEI

  Dear Colleagues, The San Francisco Estuary Institute (SFEI) is seeking an entry to mid-level watershed scientist to join our Resilient Landscapes Program.  The successful candidate will work on applied science projects relating to watershed restoration, water and sediment management, and climate-change adaptation planning in the Bay Area and statewide. The candidate will help develop tools and quantitative approaches to inform regional and state-wide riverine ecosystem management decisions.
