Job vacancy for a UNESCO Project Officer for South Africa

The UNESCO Regional Office for Southern Africa announces a vacancy for a Project Officer in Natural Sciences, to be based in Pretoria, South Africa, within the project ‘Addressing Climate Risk and Building Adaptive Capacity in South Africa’s Biosphere Reserves: Towards Sustainable Water and Ecosystem Management’, funded by the Government of Flanders.

Watershed Scientist Position at SFEI

  Dear Colleagues, The San Francisco Estuary Institute (SFEI) is seeking an entry to mid-level watershed scientist to join our Resilient Landscapes Program.  The successful candidate will work on applied science projects relating to watershed restoration, water and sediment management, and climate-change adaptation planning in the Bay Area and statewide. The candidate will help develop tools and quantitative approaches to inform regional and state-wide riverine ecosystem management decisions.
